Watch a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Class!

Come take an inside look inside the Crazy 88 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Elkridge, MD. This video was shot during one of our BJJ Fundamentals classes – one of the most popular in our HUGE Martial Arts class schedule. These classes follow a curriculum and are intended for individuals with little to no grappling or combat sports experience. We take a lot of pride in the fact that our World-class Competition team is primarily homegrown. Unlike many other MMA schools, you do not need to be a College Div. 1 wrestler or have 10 Golden Gloves victories for us to develop your into a champion.

During any of our classes, you will notice some of the more experienced students walking around the mats, helping the students.  This allows us to make sure that White Belts are not passing on bad habits and we can pinpoint errors earlier.  All sparring is done under the watchful eye of the on-duty instructor and special care is taken to pair up each individual with a partner that will provide a positive training experience.
