Madeline Donnelly Promoted to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Yellow Belt!
Recently, one of the members of our Children’s Martial Arts program, Madeline Donnelly, was promoted to the rank of yellow belt. This is a major accomplishment for a young person in our youth martial arts program.
There have been only three children promoted to solid color belts and Madeline is our latest. Unlike the other belts in the children’s system that have stripes and are half a color and half white, which are awarded over a period of time, solid color belts are awarded based on demonstrated skill. Madeline has shown that she is not only a great competitor but an even better person.
Madeline has trained almost as long as the Crazy 88 children’s program has been around. Since beginning her training, Madeline has been a model student. Madeline has never had any trouble listening to or respecting instructors. Madeline is also a strong leader and sets a great example for her fellow students, in words and action. She is a very focused individual, always paying attention when being shown and when in competition. Madeline has a bright future in whatever she decides to do in life, especially in Jiu-jitsu, because of her respect, determination, and perseverance.
